### What do you hope to get out of this class?

I hope to gain the skills I need to work with my data as painless as possible


### This class is strongly rooted in an independent project related to genomic analyses. What specific project do you have in mind? If you do not have any data or preference, data can be provided / aquired. If you do not have a specfic project, what approach would you like to master as part of this class?

I have genetic sequence data from DNA metabarcoding of gut contents. I need to first identify the sequences and compare if the gut contents change across depth of capture


### What are two things you found most useful from the reading?

I don't learn well through reading... The first section "how to learn..." was good background/ foundational knowledge. I wish there was like a TLDR list of the headings or summary at the end of the section. The second section "setting up..." was very abstract to me.
